Matthew Smart.

Having joined Armstrongs from Weavers, Matthew brings more than 25 years of experience working in accounts and tax. During his time at Weavers, he progressed to Senior Accountant, working closely with clients and helping them find practical solutions to a wide range of accounting and tax queries.

Over the course of his career, Matthew has worked with businesses of all sizes, from small sole traders through to larger limited companies. His broad experience across accounts and tax means he enjoys getting to grips with different challenges and working directly with clients to help resolve their questions.

Away from the office, Matthew enjoys keeping active, particularly through cycling and walking. He previously competed in a range of cycling disciplines, including cyclo-cross, mountain biking and road racing. His sporting interests have also included cricket, golf and, further back, track and field athletics.
