Working for us

As one of the leading and growing accountancy practices in the midlands we are often on the lookout for new staff who can contribute to our business.

Experienced Staff

If you have accounting practice experience we do have, from time to time, vacancies for qualified, part qualified or experienced staff in our, Corporate, Taxation, Business Services and Outsourcing departments.

Graduates

We regularly recruit graduate trainees, usually in August/September or February/March, onto our graduate recruitment programme. We do not have any preconceived ideas as to the type of degree you hold, however we would expect your degree to be business orientated in some way (for example, Accountancy, Finance, Business, Economics or Law). We would expect you to be confident with numbers and numeracy. You will be proficient in spoken and written English, with a developed attention to detail and a logical and analytical approach to solving problems.

As a graduate trainee you will acquire and develop skills and knowledge in book-keeping, accountancy and finance, by assisting in preparing accounts to draft stage from computerised or manual client records. After the completion of your probation period you will work towards an appropriate professional accounting qualification, usually ACCA.

Once you have gained your qualification it may be possible for you to continue your professional training in a specialist department or area such as Taxation.

Non Graduate Trainees

If you are about to leave or have recently left full-time education, we regularly recruit non-graduate trainees. As a minimum we would expect you to be confident with numbers and numeracy, have a good spread of GCSE’s, including Maths at grade A and English at grade B (or the equivalent). It would be an advantage if you have studied Business Studies, Higher Maths, Statistics, Accountancy, Economics, Finance or Law.

As a non-graduate trainee you will acquire and develop skills and knowledge in book-keeping and accountancy, by assisting in preparing accounts to draft stage from computerised or manual client records. After the completion of your probation period you will work towards an appropriate professional accounting qualification, usually AAT.
