Paul Farmer – ACA, FCCA, FMAAT – Director

Paul is a Chartered Accountant with over 18 years experience in practice in and around the Coventry area. Paul has a wide variety of experience ranging from small businesses operated as sole traders and partnerships to corporate bodies on various taxation affairs, including dealing with HM Revenue Customs enquiries and investigations. Paul mostly deals with personal tax for Armstrongs, as well as some of the more specialised accounts and audit work.

Muhammed Shabbir – ACA, FCCA – Director

Muhammed has several years of experience in managing and advising a varied portfolio of clients. These range from small including business start-ups right through to medium sized family owned companies.

He has an excellent working knowledge of wide variety of sectors, which include retail, manufacturing, consultancy, financial services, IT, professional practice and charities.

Sarah qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2008, as well as completing her first class honours degree in Applied Accounting. She then went on to complete her Chartered Tax Advisor qualification in 2011 after pursuing her interest in tax. Sarah has been with Armstrongs for over 11 years, and in that time has gained a variety of experience within both accountancy and taxation, enabling her to advise a diverse range of clients from an array of business sectors.

Sarah is involved in the more complex tax planning for clients on a personal tax and corporate tax level. She has experience in dealing with Research and Development claims, Patent Box relief, Inheritance Tax planning, along with the taxation of trusts. Sarah also has experience in tax planning in mergers, acquisitions and business disposals. In addition, she liaises with HMRC in relation to clients’ enquiries and inspections.

Saleem Ahmed – B.Com, FCA
(Bangladesh) – Consultant

Saleem qualified in 1976 and has served as an international finance manager with a US based multinational company before moving to the UK and has since been with Armstrongs for some 23 years.

Saleem has wide ranging experience of managing and advising varied portfolio of clients ranging from small to medium size multinational companies. These clients cover most areas such as property, fashion, entertainment, music, communication, financial services, charities and many others. He has also been involved in preparation of business plans, forecasts, buying and selling businesses and other specialist projects.
